These are the rules for using VEXIUM. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. Who can use VEXIUM

You must be 13 or older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission. One account per person.

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password to yourself.

2. Train safely — read this one

VEXIUM is not a medical service, a coaching service, or a substitute for either. Nothing in the app is medical advice, and no feature assesses whether a lift is safe for you.

Lifting carries a real risk of injury, and maximal attempts carry more of it. Warm up. Use a spotter and safety bars on heavy sets. Stay within your ability. Stop immediately if something hurts. Speak to a doctor before starting if you have any injury or medical condition, or if you are pregnant.

You train at your own risk. A streak, a duel, a daily mission or a leaderboard position is never a reason to attempt a lift you are not ready for. We designed those features to motivate you, not to override your judgement — and if they ever pull in opposite directions, ignore the app.

3. Your content

Your lifts and videos remain yours. By submitting them you grant us the licence we need to run the service: to store them, show them to reviewers, and display verified lifts to other VEXIUM users in the feed, on profiles and on leaderboards. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep for safety or legal reasons.

You must not upload:

• Video that is not you, or not the lift you claim it is
• Edited, sped-up, cut or otherwise manipulated footage
• Anyone who has not agreed to appear — film yourself, not the gym
• Anything abusive, hateful, sexual, or illegal

4. Fair play

The leaderboard only means anything if it is honest. Faking a lift, tampering with a video, impersonating someone, using multiple accounts, or exploiting a bug to gain Shakes, Coins or rank will get the lift removed and may get the account suspended or deleted.

Reviewers decide whether a lift counts. If you think a decision was wrong, email us and a person will look again.

5. Shakes and duels

Shakes are one number. The Shakes you hold set your Battle Pass level for the season, and they are also what you stake in a duel. You earn them from verified lifts, missions, achievements, the free daily spin and duels you win.

A duel is a contest of skill, not gambling. Both athletes stake the same number of Shakes, both train during the window, and the winner is whoever improves most against their own previous record.

• When a duel is accepted, both stakes are locked until it ends. Locked Shakes cannot be staked again, but they still count toward your level.
• The winner gets their own stake back plus the other stake, minus a 10% fee that is removed from the game. From a second win in a row the winner also receives a bonus of 25% of the stake.
• Losing a duel costs your stake, and that can lower your level. Battle Pass rewards you already reached that season stay claimable.
• A draw returns both stakes.
• Only verified lifts count. A duel cannot be settled while a lift of its exercise from inside the window is still waiting for review, so a lift reviewed sooner — for example with a Priority Review — cannot be scored ahead of one still in the queue. The one exception is the end of a season: a duel still waiting on a review then is cancelled with both stakes returned (see below), so how soon a lift is reviewed can decide whether that duel is scored or cancelled.
• A lift removed by moderation never counts toward what you lift during a duel's window. Your starting record is your best verified lift in that exercise when the duel is accepted, and that includes a lift moderation has removed.

Shakes have no cash value. They cannot be sold, withdrawn, or converted into money, and they cannot be bought directly. They do pass between athletes when a duel is won or lost. Some things you buy with VEX Coins multiply the Shakes you earn, and two daily missions reward spending VEX Coins with Shakes — see section 6. Some Battle Pass levels, which you reach with Shakes, reward VEX Coins.

Every season starts fresh. When a new season begins, every athlete's Shakes and level return to zero. Before that happens, duels whose window has ended are settled, and duels still running are cancelled with both stakes returned. A duel whose window has ended but which still has a lift waiting for review cannot be scored fairly, so it is cancelled the same way, with both stakes returned. Challenges nobody accepted are closed. VIP lasts for one season.

6. VEX Coins, cosmetics and loot boxes

• VEX Coins are a digital currency for cosmetic items, loot boxes, the VIP Battle Pass and boosts. They have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or refunded for money.
• Cosmetics are licensed, not owned. You get the right to use an item inside VEXIUM. You are not buying property, and items may change or be retired.
• Coins cannot buy rank or a duel result. Leaderboards are built only from verified lifts, and a duel is won by whoever improves most over their own previous record. No boost or purchase changes a duel's outcome or what it pays. The only way a purchase can touch a duel is the season-end case in section 5, where a Priority Review can get a lift reviewed before the season closes, so the duel is scored instead of cancelled.
• What coins can do, said plainly: buy cosmetic skins; buy consumable boosts — Double Shakes doubles the Shakes from your next verified lift, and XP Surge multiplies the Shakes you earn from lifts, missions and achievements for 12 or 24 hours; and buy the VIP pass, whose reward track includes Shakes boosts and which removes the one-duel-per-week limit. Because Shakes are also your level and your duel stake, that is a real advantage: you level up faster and can stake more. We would rather say so than pretend otherwise. Other boosts protect a streak, swap a mission, or move your next lift to the front of the review queue.
• Loot boxes contain cosmetic items only. The odds for every item are shown before you open one.
• Loot boxes are not available everywhere. Some countries restrict or prohibit paid randomised rewards. Where that applies, boxes simply do not appear — the rest of VEXIUM works exactly as it does anywhere else.
• Purchases are final, except where your local law gives you a refund right. Purchases made through the App Store are subject to Apple's refund process.
• Immediate delivery, and what that means for the 14-day withdrawal right. If you are an EU or UK consumer you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. VEX Coins are credited to your account the moment your store confirms the payment, and the coin store says so next to the price: by buying, you are asking us to deliver them immediately and accepting that the 14-day right ends once they are delivered. That is the only thing that ends it — it does not affect anything you have not bought, and it does not affect the refund process Apple or Google run, which is separate from us and still available to you.

7. Behaviour towards other people

Harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, spam and impersonation are not allowed — in comments, messages, usernames, or video.

Every video, comment and message can be reported from inside the app, and you can block any user. Reports are reviewed and we aim to act within 24 hours. We may remove content or accounts without notice where there is a risk to someone's safety.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Account → Delete forever. It removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where we can, we will tell you why.

Deleting your account forfeits your Shakes — and with them your season level and Battle Pass progress — and any VEX Coins. If you are in an active duel when you delete, the duel is cancelled: your opponent's stake is returned to them and yours is forfeited with your account.

9. The service itself

VEXIUM is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that verification is infallible, that the service is uninterrupted, or that data is never lost. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use VEXIUM after that means you accept the new version.

11. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
