These are the rules for using VEXIUM. By creating an account you agree to them.
You must be 13 or older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission. One account per person.
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password to yourself.
VEXIUM is not a medical service, a coaching service, or a substitute for either. Nothing in the app is medical advice, and no feature assesses whether a lift is safe for you.
Lifting carries a real risk of injury, and maximal attempts carry more of it. Warm up. Use a spotter and safety bars on heavy sets. Stay within your ability. Stop immediately if something hurts. Speak to a doctor before starting if you have any injury or medical condition, or if you are pregnant.
You train at your own risk. A streak, a duel, a daily mission or a leaderboard position is never a reason to attempt a lift you are not ready for. We designed those features to motivate you, not to override your judgement — and if they ever pull in opposite directions, ignore the app.
Your lifts and videos remain yours. By submitting them you grant us the licence we need to run the service: to store them, show them to reviewers, and display verified lifts to other VEXIUM users in the feed, on profiles and on leaderboards. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep for safety or legal reasons.

The leaderboard only means anything if it is honest. Faking a lift, tampering with a video, impersonating someone, using multiple accounts, or exploiting a bug to gain Shakes, Coins or rank will get the lift removed and may get the account suspended or deleted.
Reviewers decide whether a lift counts. If you think a decision was wrong, email us and a person will look again.
A duel is a contest of skill, not gambling. Both athletes stake Shakes, both train during the window, and the winner is whoever improves most against their own previous record.
Shakes are earned only — through verified lifts and missions. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred, exchanged for VEX Coins, withdrawn, or converted into money or anything of monetary value, by anyone, ever. They have no cash value. This is deliberate and it is not going to change.
Harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, spam and impersonation are not allowed — in comments, messages, usernames, or video.
Every video, comment and message can be reported from inside the app, and you can block any user. Reports are reviewed and we aim to act within 24 hours. We may remove content or accounts without notice where there is a risk to someone's safety.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Account → Delete forever. It removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where we can, we will tell you why.
Deleting your account forfeits any unspent Shakes and VEX Coins. If you are in an active duel when you delete, your opponent's stake is returned to them.
VEXIUM is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that verification is infallible, that the service is uninterrupted, or that data is never lost. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use VEXIUM after that means you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
